CMA-ACCREDITED SOUND HEALING, CEREMONY & SPACE-HOLDING PRACTITIONER TRAINING
Next cohort · March 2027
WELCOME
Welcome to Alchemy In The New Forest’s Sound Healing, Ceremony & Space-Holding Practitioner Training.
This is an intimate, in-person training for those who feel called to work deeply and responsibly with sound, ceremony and the art of holding space for others. Rooted in both experiential learning and personal practice, the training brings together sound, ritual, reflection, ethics and self-awareness, giving you the confidence to develop your own authentic way of working.
Held within the beautiful New Forest National Park, this is a place where nature is very much part of the experience. Deer are often close by, our alpacas share the land with us, and the surrounding forest offers a peaceful backdrop in which to slow down, listen and learn. The training is deliberately held within a small, intimate group, allowing plenty of individual attention, hands-on practice and space for genuine connection.
A training held with beauty, nourishment and intention at every level.
Every detail has been thoughtfully considered so that you can step away from everyday life, feel supported and fully immerse yourself in the experience.
IS THIS TRAINING FOR YOU?
This training is for you if you feel drawn to working with sound in a deeper, more meaningful way - whether you are beginning a new path or wanting to bring sound, ceremony and intentional space-holding into work you already do.
You may already be working in wellness, therapy, yoga, energy work, bodywork or another healing practice, or you may simply feel a strong personal calling towards this work. You do not need to arrive with years of experience or a collection of instruments. What matters most is your willingness to learn, to listen deeply and to approach the work with care, integrity and curiosity.
This is also a training for those who want more than simply learning how to play instruments. We will explore how to create experiences that feel safe, thoughtful and beautifully held - developing your own authentic way of working rather than following a rigid formula.

THE TRAINING EXPERIENCE:
Learning through experience:
This training is deeply experiential. You will learn not only through teaching and demonstration, but through listening, practising, receiving sound and discovering how different instruments feel in your own body and nervous system. The emphasis is on understanding sound from the inside out, rather than simply learning a set of techniques.
Working with sound:
We will explore the unique qualities of gongs, crystal and Tibetan bowls, drums, chimes, tuning forks and other therapeutic instruments. You will learn how to work with tone, resonance, rhythm, silence and vibration, and how to bring instruments together with sensitivity and intention to create a coherent sound experience.
Ceremony and intention:
Sound will be woven together with ceremony, ritual, nature and the cycles of the Moon. We will explore intention-setting, altar creation, cacao and water ceremony, seasonal practices and simple ways of bringing meaning and depth into your work without it ever feeling forced or performative.
The art of holding space:
A significant part of the training is learning how to hold a group well. We will explore boundaries, consent, ethics, deep listening and the responsibility that comes with guiding others through powerful experiences. You will begin to understand how your own presence can be just as important as the instruments you play.
Developing your own way of working:
There is no single formula for becoming a practitioner. Throughout the training you will be encouraged to notice what feels authentic to you, to deepen your relationship with your own intuition and to develop a way of working that feels grounded, thoughtful and genuinely yours.
Practice, reflection and becoming a practitioner:
The training continues beyond the time we spend together. Through personal practice, reflection, case studies and assessment, you will have space to integrate what you have learned and grow in confidence. The intention is that you leave not simply knowing how to use sound, but feeling ready to step into the role of practitioner with integrity, presence and a real understanding of the work.
